SEEDER Wins CGTN Studio System Project for China Media Group
SEEDER is honored to announce that our Distributed Web Prompters, Two-Stage Pedestals, Two-Stage Head & Pedestal VR Tracking Systems have been selected for China Media Group's "CGTN English Converged Media News Studio Platform Equipment (I) Studio System" project. SEEDER will provide products in bulk for the news studio project, ensuring safety, stability, and efficient program production.
The goal of this project is to establish a Converged Media News Studio Platform that supports integrated production. This platform adopts an all-IP architecture, featuring capabilities for stereo and eight-channel production. Signal scheduling, management, and monitoring are conducted through SDN-controlled equipment. Upon completion of this project, the studio systems in C01, C08, and C09 will provide a comprehensive technical platform for live news production. This platform will enable IP signal scheduling and sharing, supporting live broadcasts of various news programs, including political, economic, and cultural news. It will also accommodate multi-person interviews, artistic performances, and large-scale live events, meeting the production and distribution needs of converged media.
The awarded Distributed Web Prompters System utilizes the MOS2.85 protocol for prompter control terminals, supporting synchronous operation of main and backup servers. The system can interface with studio's NRCS for automatic content synchronization and is compatible with Dayang, Sobey, CDV, SEEDER, and iNEWS NRCS. It enables real-time push of prompter content, supporting arbitrary grouping and main-backup operation of control terminals, prompter terminals, network hand control, and network foot control. The system also features real-time monitoring of the operational status of all devices within each group, ensuring efficient operation.
The Two-Stage Head & Pedestal VR Tracking System uses a 23-bit absolute value encoder, outputting tracking data with a resolution of 8.3 million/360° FREE-D via RS422 and network-directed UDP interfaces for virtual systems. It features full CNC machining, a standard dolly with brakes, and lockable motion trajectory to ensure high precision and stability.
All these equipment will be deployed at China Media Group's Guanghua Road office area, with implementation and operation expected within the year. SEEDER has consistently participated in various projects and the application of new technologies at China Media Group.
