SEEDER ST 2110 IP System Delivers Outstanding Live Production Performance at the 2nd World Humanoid Robot Games
Lightweight. Fast to Deploy. Flexible. Reliable. Built for Real-World IP Production.
Event Background
The 2nd World Humanoid Robot Games, held in Beijing on August 16–17, 2026, brought together cutting-edge humanoid robotics technologies in a series of competitive events and demonstrations. As a high-profile event showcasing the development and practical applications of humanoid robotics, the Games also presented demanding requirements for efficient, reliable and flexible live broadcasting.

For this event, SEEDER deployed a lightweight ST 2110 IP live‑production solution. It included the RB12CR4 lightweight robotic crane system, while the compact IP production hardware suite, including the IP switcher, gateway, multiviewer, recorder, graphic engine and SDN network management system, was integrated and housed within two 10U flight cases. The system successfully supported on‑site live production and delivered solid performance amid challenging real‑world event conditions.

Most importantly, this real‑world deployment‑and‑operation test validated that professional ST 2110 IP production can be both powerful and lightweight.
Rapid Deployment — Up and Running in Just 30 Minutes
One of the most significant advantages demonstrated at the event was extremely fast deployment. The complete system was set up and ready for live production in approximately 30 minutes, significantly reducing the time and manpower normally required for on-site broadcast system deployment. For mobile productions, sporting events and temporary venues where setup time is critical, this lightweight ST 2110 solution provides a highly practical approach to professional IP production.
Seamless Integration of IP and Baseband Signals
The system supports simultaneous input of ST 2110 IP signals and traditional baseband signals, providing production teams with greater flexibility when integrating different types of equipment and signal sources. This hybrid capability makes it easier to work in real-world production environments where existing SDI/baseband equipment and modern IP infrastructure need to coexist.
Built‑in Streaming Capability — Eliminates Dependence on Separate Streaming Backpack
The system features native streaming output, meaning live streams can be generated directly by the production hardware itself, removing the need for an independent streaming backpack.
Though live‑streaming was required for this event, this function was not used on‑site. The production position was set within a semi‑open old building with no local network access; public‑IP address provision was cumbersome for the event, and the production team already had third‑party streaming backpacks in place for primary‑backup streaming. Since SEEDER’s streaming function requires network connectivity to work, this feature could not be activated under the given site conditions. Even so, the production team commented that this built‑in streaming function would be extremely convenient, as it removed the hassle of bringing separate streaming backpacks for live‑streaming tasks. One compact system delivers richer functions and reduces on‑site equipment load.
Intuitive Switcher Design for Fast Operator Training
The production team also praised the system’s switcher interface, layout and operating experience. The controls are designed to be intuitive and easy to learn, allowing operators to get started quickly. For this event, the director received only approximately 10 minutes of training before being able to independently handle key operations such as source selection and switching. This demonstrates an important advantage for live events: professional production capabilities without a steep learning curve.
Reliable Operation in Challenging Conditions
The system also faced a demanding test of environmental reliability. The production area had no air‑conditioning; even though the venue was semi‑open, outdoor temperatures hit approximately 35 °C, resulting in sweltering indoor working conditions. Despite these challenging conditions, the SEEDER system operated normally throughout the live production without any abnormalities. This real-world performance further demonstrates the system’s reliability for demanding field-production environments.
