RBU38OD3 Outdoor Robotic Pan/Tilt Head
The SEEDER RBU38OD3 outdoor robotic pan/tilt head system adopts a U-shaped robotic head and supports intelligent automated shooting. Designed for professional broadcast-level production, it is ideal for real-scene and virtual production (AR, VR, XR, MR) in studios or live event environments. The robotic head ensures smooth motion starts and stops without any shake, delivering high-quality footage. Operating at <20 dB, meeting the demands of professional studios.
Shake-free start/stop motion ensures every frame is broadcast-ready, while built-in telephoto anti-shake provides stability for long-lens shots. Through AI algorithms based on motion time and distance, the system generates up to 16 motion nodes for smooth curvilinear movement, enabling complex motion shots. It supports all full-servo Canon and Fujinon B4 mount lenses, with control over zoom, focus, and iris. It also retrieves zoom and focus tracking data through the digital lens cable and automatically compensates for tracking delay based on lens brand, achieving precise motion sync. The system uses black burst synchronization and outputs tracking data at 23-bit precision, equivalent to over 8.3 million positions per 360°, in the FREE-D format. Tracking data can be output via RS422 or UDP (with customizable ports). Compatible with Vizrt, Avid (Orad), Brainstorm, Aximmetry, and UE5 virtual production systems.
The modular design allows easy assembly and disassembly—installation takes only 10 minutes. Powered by 220V AC (≤108 W), it is easy to deploy. Equipped with absolute value encoders to record position and tracking data, allowing 10-second startup without calibration, especially suitable for studio or large event live broadcast use. Standard TCP/IP protocol allows third-party device control and automation. Supports studio control systems such as SEEDER SEEART, Vizrt MOSART, ROSS Overdrive, GrassValley IGNITE.
The control software manages robotic head pan/tilt, and lens zoom/focus/iris. It supports up to 8 robotic systems, with 32 programs × 16 sequences × 16 scenes (8,192 total scenes). Features include smooth curve and reverse motion, scene import/export, and dedicated UIs per program. Zero-point position and motion limits for the robotic head can be customized to ensure operational safety. The system includes both built-in and external control units for fast switching, and comes standard with an emergency stop button.
