The SEEDER RB12CR4 fourth-generation robotic crane system features an L-type robotic pan & tilt head and a newly designed robotic chassis. It comes standard with an electronic leveling system and supports intelligent automated shooting. This is a professional-grade robotic camera system for pre-production of broadcast television, suitable for real-scene and virtual productions including AR, VR, XR, and MR in studios or live events.
The robotic jib length ranges from 2460 mm to 3130 mm and can be flexibly adjusted depending on the actual environment. The maximum operating noise is less than 20dB, meeting the acoustic requirements of professional studios. The system ensures that the image remains stable with no shake during the start and stop of jib movement. When equipped with a telephoto lens, it supports effective anti-shake shooting.
Using AI technology, the system can automatically generate up to 16 motion nodes based on motion time and distance, enabling smooth multi-point curvilinear movement and supporting complex motion video shooting. The system can also auto-track the center of the frame. When the jib moves along the XYZ axes manually, the pan-tilt head will automatically pan and tilt to maintain the center point, greatly aiding quick framing by the operator.
Supports Canon and Fujinon full-servo lenses with B4 mount, enabling control of zoom, focus, and iris. When the jib and pan-tilt head move simultaneously, AI autofocus can be enabled on full-servo lenses. The system can acquire zoom and focus tracking data via lens digital cable, and automatically adjust motor tracking latency according to lens brand-specific delays. It uses black burst synchronization and outputs 23-bit FREE-D tracking data, equivalent to over 8.3 million positions per 360°, via RS422 and UDP (with customizable ports). Compatible with Vizrt, ZD, Brainstorm, UE5, and other virtual/augmented systems.
Modular design, tool-free assembly and disassembly, 15-minute setup. Absolute encoders, ready in 10 s, no calibration required — ideal for studios and large-scale live events. Standard TCP/IP protocol allows control by third-party systems such as SEEDER SEEART, Vizrt MOSART, ROSS Overdrive, and GrassValley IGNITE.
Equipped with optical and dynamic anti-collision technology for safe operation. Dual optical detection systems are installed within 20cm on both sides of the jib, with customizable detection range according to jib length. When an object is detected, the system pauses within 20cm. Additionally, dynamic collision avoidance is triggered when abnormal resistance is sensed.
Supports XYZ movement of the jib, pan/tilt of the head, and camera lens zoom, focus, and iris via the control software. It supports up to 8 robotic systems, with 32 programs × 16 sequences × 16 scenes (8,192 total scenes). Each scene interface is independent, with long curve and bidirectional motion supported, and scene file import/export.
