RB18VH3-PT50 Pedestal Pan/Tilt Head
The SEEDER RB18VH3-PT50 pedestal robotic pan & tilt head system adopts a U-type robotic head and supports intelligent, automated shooting. Designed for professional broadcast-level production, it is ideal for real-scene and virtual production (AR, VR, XR, MR) in studios or live event environments. The robotic head ensures smooth motion starts and stops without any shake, delivering high-quality footage. Operating at <20 dB, meeting the demands of professional studios.
When using telephoto lenses, it provides effective anti-shake support. The AI-based motion control system automatically generates motion trajectories with up to 16 nodes based on time and distance, achieving smooth multi-point curvilinear movements for complex shots.
Supports full-servo Canon and Fujinon lenses with B4 mount, allowing control of zoom, focus, and iris. Lens tracking data for zoom and focus can be retrieved via digital lens cables. The system automatically compensates motor delay based on the latency of lens brand-specific tracking data.
Adopts black burst synchronization, outputs 23-bit precision FREE-D tracking data (>8.3 million/360°). Tracking data can be output via RS422 and network-directed UDP, with customizable UDP ports. Compatible with Vizrt, ZD, Brainstorm, UE5 and other virtual production systems.
With modular design, the system is easy to assemble and disassemble—installation can be completed in 10 minutes. Equipped with absolute value encoders to record position and tracking data, allowing 10-second startup without calibration, especially suitable for studio or large event live broadcast use.
The system features a standard TCP/IP protocol for third-party control, enabling full automation. Compatible with SEEDER SEEART, Vizrt MOSART, ROSS Overdrive, GrassValley IGNITE and other studio automation systems.
The control software manages head pan/tilt, and lens zoom/focus/iris. It supports up to 8 robotic systems, with 32 programs × 16 sequences × 16 scenes (8,192 total scenes). Features include smooth curve and reverse motion, scene import/export, and dedicated UIs per program. Zero-point position and motion limits for the robotic head can be customized to ensure operational safety. The system includes both built-in and external control units for fast switching, and comes standard with an emergency stop button.
