RBU30HH4 Ceiling Robotic Pan/Tilt Head System
The SEEDER RBU30HH4 ceiling-mounted robotic pan-tilt head system adopts a U-type robotic pan-tilt head and enables intelligent automated shooting. It is a robotic automation-assisted system designed for broadcast-level television and broadcast pre-production, suitable for both real and virtual production scenarios including AR, VR, XR, and MR in various studios and event venues. During camera movement, the robotic head starts and stops quickly without any jitter, ensuring each captured video is stable and usable. The system operates with a maximum noise level below 20dB, meeting the acoustic requirements of professional broadcast studios.
When using telephoto lenses, the system provides effective stabilization. Through AI-based trajectory control, the system automatically generates motion paths with up to 16 motion nodes based on movement time and distance, achieving continuous smooth multi-point curvilinear motion suitable for complex camera paths.
It supports the full series of Canon and Fujinon full-servo lenses with B4 mounts, allowing zoom, focus, and iris control. Real-time zoom and focus tracking data can be retrieved via lens digital cables. The system automatically compensates tracking delays based on brand-specific lens response latency, achieving precise synchronization of motor movement. The system uses black burst synchronization and outputs 23-bit high-precision FREE-D tracking data exceeding 8.3 million/360°. Tracking data supports output via RS422 serial or network-directed UDP, with customizable UDP port support. Compatible with Vizrt, ZD, Brainstorm, UE5, and other virtual/augmented production platforms.
The system features a modular design for easy installation and disassembly, typically completed in 10 minutes. Powered by 220 V AC, max 108 W, easy to use. Motion positions and tracking data are recorded using absolute encoders; the system is ready for operation within 10 seconds of startup without requiring initialization calibration. It is particularly suited for studios or large-scale live broadcast environments. The system supports standard TCP/IP protocol and can be controlled by third-party equipment. It is fully compatible with SEEDER SEEART, Vizrt MOSART, ROSS Overdrive, and GrassValley IGNITE studio automation systems.
The control software manages head pan/tilt, and lens zoom/focus/iris. It supports up to 8 robotic systems, with 32 programs × 16 sequences × 16 scenes (8,192 total scenes). Features include smooth curve and reverse motion, scene import/export, and dedicated UIs per program. Zero-point position and motion limits for the robotic head can be customized to ensure operational safety. The system includes both built-in and external control units for fast switching, and comes standard with an emergency stop button.
