SEEDER RB20CR-10M robotic crane system adopts fourth-generation robotic pan/tilt head and new robotic chassis, with electronic level system fitted as standard. Designed for broadcast-grade production, it suits real-scene and virtual production (AR, VR, XR, MR) within studios and live event environments. The telescopic arm reaches 10 m, adjustable to adapt to different site conditions. Operating noise <40 dB to satisfy professional studio requirements. Shake-free start/stop motion ensures every frame is broadcast-ready, while built-in telephoto stabilization delivers stable long-lens shots. Powered by AI algorithms based on motion time and distance, the system generates trajectories with up to 16 motion nodes for smooth curvilinear movement to realise complex motion shots. The system automatically tracks the frame centre. When manually operating the crane’s XYZ axes, the pan-tilt head automatically pans and tilts to keep the frame centred, greatly helping operators achieve fast composition.
It supports the full range of Canon and Fujinon B4-mount full-servo lenses, with zoom, focus and iris control. During synchronous crane and head movement, full-servo lenses deliver AI auto-focus tracking. It retrieves zoom and focus tracking data via digital lens cables and automatically compensates tracking delay by lens brand for precise motion synchronization. The system uses black-burst synchronization and outputs FREE-D tracking data at 23-bit precision, equivalent to over 8.3 million counts per 360°. Compatible with Vizrt, ZD, Pixotope and UE5 virtual production systems.
The modular design enables quick assembly and disassembly. Absolute encoders allow immediate operation after power-up with no startup calibration required — ideal for studios and live events. It supports standard TCP/IP protocol for third-party control and integrates with automation systems including SEEDER SEEART, Vizrt MOSART, ROSS Overdrive, and Grass Valley IGNITE.
Dual anti-collision protection ensures operational safety: optical sensors fitted on both sides of the arm (configurable detection range, stops within 20 cm); dynamic force detection halts movement upon abnormal resistance.
The control software manages crane XYZ movement, head pan/tilt, and lens zoom/focus/iris. It controls up to 8 robotic units, supporting 32 programs × 16 sequences × 16 scenes (8,192 scenes total). Functions include smooth curved and reverse motion, scene file import/export, and dedicated UIs for individual programs.
