Zhejiang's "Leading Talents" Program Progress Meeting Successfully Held

The progress meeting for Zhejiang's "Leading Talents" Program, jointly led by Hangzhou Dianzi University, Zhejiang Media Group, Wasu Media Network Co., Ltd, and Hangzhou SEEDER Network Tech CoLtd., took place on January 26, 2024, at Hangzhou Xixi Hotel.

Attendees included Yang Yong, former vice president of Hangzhou Dianzi University; Wan Jian, president of Zhejiang University of Water Resources and Electric Power; Zheng Hongzhe, director of the Technology Management Department of Zhejiang Media Group; Guo Changxiong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Editor-in-Chief of Suzhou Broadcasting System; Lin Fei, Technical Bureau of China Media Group; Shao Yong, Deputy Director of SMG and Chief Technical Expert of Shanghai Media Group; Fan Jinhui, Deputy Director of SMG and Director of Shanghai East China Television Technology Cooperation Center; Pan Yongjie, Assistant Director of the Science and Technology Management Department of Zhejiang Media Group; Luo Chen, Deputy Director of the Technology Development Center of Hangzhou Wenguang Group; Chen Dake, Chief Engineer of Shaoxing Radio and Television Station; Yu Zhedong, Director of Wasu Strategic Brand Center;  Wuhuifeng, Director of the Research Office of Hangzhou Dianzi University;  Lin Fei, Director of the Academic Affairs Office of Hangzhou Dianzi University; Professor He Lili from Zhejiang Sci-Tech University; Zhu Changrui, President of Hangzhou SEEDER Network Tech CoLtd., Gan Meijun, Vice President, and Jin Rishan, General Manager, as well as Sun Quanxing, General Manager of Hangzhou SEEDER Intelligent Technology. The meeting was chaired by Yang Yong.


Project Background


The "Leading Talents" Program is an initiative organized by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology to enhance technological self-reliance, support the construction of high-level innovative provinces, and promote the construction of a strong province in science and technology. The program aims to accelerate the achievement of landmark results and strategic products, addressing key core technology and technological bottlenecks.


Meeting Overview


During the meeting, the project team responsible for the research and development progress of the two projects, "Key Technologies of the Full-Process Intelligent Collaborative Broadcasting Service Platform" and "Key Technologies of Ultra-High-Definition Video IP Production and Broadcasting Based on General Computing Platform," provided detailed reports. The attending leaders and experts fully affirmed the planning and achievements of the projects.


In the exchange and discussion session, the project team elaborated on the technical barriers encountered during the R&D process and uncertainties in market promotion. The participating experts actively engaged, collectively explored the technical breakthroughs of the projects, and shared experiences and insights in their respective fields. Through in-depth communication, the goal is to drive the high-quality completion of the projects, address issues in R&D and market promotion, optimize development directions, and enhance the R&D level of the projects.
